ThreeWP Global Message

Description

Administration settings on a WPMU site

ThreeWP Global Message for WordPress / WordPress MU displays different global messages in the admin panel according to user role. Like the ”premium” plugin but better.

Displays different global messages in the admin panel according to user role. Administrators, editors, authors, contributors and subscribers can all be configured to each receive their own message or even no message at all.

Includes an uninstall option to remove itself from the database.

Premium plugin?

Yeah. There’s a ”premium” plugin called Admin Message that my plugin replaces. The main difference is that my plugin can display different messages according to user role while the Admin Message plugin disaplays the same message to all logged-in users…

… and the Admin Message plugin is paywalled. Mine is free.

You can download the premium WordPress MU Admin Message plugin here in case you’re wondering what the differences are.

Will you share the other premium plugins as well? :-)

Thanks Mindre! ”The GPL doesn’t quite work with people telling you to not share it.”

Alterative (more seeds at this moment):

Unfortunately, these are all from 8/2009. Many have been updated and added. Anyone have access to the up to date ones?

  4. Question: Do higher roles have access to view messages intended for lower roles?

What if I want all roles to see the same thing? Do I have to paste my html into every role?

Please advise of any other premium replacement plugins.
